Amazing Program

The La Canada USSD dojo is amazing. The instructors are amazing at their jobs. The atmosphere is great for learning and you learn great self defense. At first you learn slowly with lots of detail but after the foundation is set, like with anything else you do, you feel like you can truly defend yourself in almost any situation. If you are on the edge about signing either you or your children up, don't hesitate. It's great for families, children, and adults, especially with rank and age separated into different classes. If you are concerned about the money, don't worry, you really are getting your money's worth with up to 4 classes a week (3.5 hours). The 1/2 hour private lesson and the 3 one hour group classes per week. I am very happy at USSD. I highly recommend this program!

This is a great system with first rate instructors. They are extremely responsive to your needs and are willing and able to work with all levels. It is a great workout, very useful in learning self-defense techniques and the teachers make it a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

I was a USSD student for 2 years. You pay for what you get, excellent training by wonderful instructors. I was a Costa Mesa 2 student & have no negative feedback. The only reason I left was to begin my police academy training. Martial Arts is an investment in yourself & you family, I think that should be worth it.

Just a scam to get as much money out of you as they can!

This studio is about the money, not the students or the kids. I would look around at the other studios in the area, namely Villaris on Ocean View. They will try to lock you into a very expensive contract, and the school cannot hold onto an instructor for more than a few months. A total joke for the kind of money the school charges, over 230.00 a month. I wouldn't do it or send my child there again.
